As a Senior Technical Recruiter at Biofire, you'll be part of a talented Recruiting Team, responsible for candidate outreach, partnering directly with hiring leaders across the organization, and closing candidates to help us achieve our aggressive hiring goals. You'll be comfortable operating in an extremely fast-paced environment, solving people problems while thriving in a startup culture. This role will focus heavily on recruiting for engineering roles such as mechanical engineers, embedded software engineers, electrical engineers and consumer products engineers, though you may be asked to pivot into roles outside of engineering as well. All of the hiring you do will be critical to the performance of our ground-breaking firearm product that is being built to help save lives.



Day to day responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Drive creative, proactive, and effective recruitment strategies for building active and passive pipelines;
  • Identify, recruit, and close engineering candidates according to our hiring plan;
  • Screen applications, conduct initial phone screens, and present the most appropriate candidates to hiring leaders based on a selection process that exemplifies the required skill sets and qualifications;
  • Provide an efficient and high-touch experience for every candidate from application stage to offer, evaluating skill level, driving the interview process and offer process, including salary recommendations and closing of candidates;
  • Act as a trusted partner to hiring leaders and interviewers, from executives to first time leaders and interviewers. Communicate regularly with hiring leaders regarding the status of candidates;

This is a full-time, salaried role with a flexible work-from-home policy. The compensation range for this role is $110,000 - $140,000.

Our dog-friendly, state-of-the-art headquarters is located in beautiful Broomfield, Colorado, between Boulder and Denver. Most roles require team members to frequently collaborate in person, but you will enjoy the flexibility to work from home when you need to.
