ABOUT THE ROLE
As part of Biofire’s multi-disciplinary Design team, you will be given ownership of solving creative problems across product, operations, brand, and customer teams, as they pertain to your strengths in the graphic arts. In addition to honing and using your strengths, you will be given opportunities to challenge yourself in new ways, unlocking untapped creative potential, learning new tools and skills and applying them to challenging problems for a new and disruptive technology. Our ideal candidate cut their teeth in Digital Arts and can not only own that core graphic work, but can also apply their skills in meaningful ways in other areas as well. Arthur Schopenhauer famously said, “Talent hits a target no one else can hit; Genius hits a target no one else can see.” Our Design team strives to hit a target that others cannot even imagine. Day to day responsibilities of the role will include:
- Gain firm understanding of our target user personas and apply user-centered design thinking towards all project work;
- Help Biofire build, define and enforce Design Brand Guidelines;
- Develop and clearly communicate strategy for meeting design needs of our team stakeholders, and able to operate autonomously to execute that plan;
- Quickly produce and iterate on ideation concepts through internal Design team reviews, as well as formal design reviews with team stakeholders;
- Produce high-level final deliverables for team stakeholders through strong hard skills in the graphic arts across print and digital media.

This is a full-time, salaried role with a flexible work-from-home policy. The compensation range for this role is $60K - $125K.

LOCATION AND HOURS
Our dog-friendly, state-of-the-art headquarters is located in beautiful Broomfield, Colorado, between Boulder and Denver. Most roles require team members to frequently collaborate in person, but you will enjoy the flexibility to work from home when you need to. We trust you to communicate with your team to make things work.
