ROLE

You will be an integral part of a team of talented individuals passionate about solving the hard problems to make Biofire’s mission a success. We operate in a fast paced, high accountability, “there is no box” environment where the goal is always to reach the best solution as efficiently as possible. Adaptability and willingness to accept feedback are critical.

As Biofire’s Head of Talent, you will be responsible for assembling the team that will build and bring to market high-reliability, safety critical products. To succeed you will need to be self-driven, obsessed with the details and comfortable operating in a rapidly-evolving startup environment. You will need to be able to design and implement a strategic, scaled approach to meet our aggressive hiring goals while rolling up your sleeves as an individual contributor. We’re not looking for just a recruiting manager, but someone who takes a hands-on, full-cycle approach to building our hiring program from the outset and can grow our efforts as we scale.

Day to day responsibilities of the role will include:

  • full life-cycle recruitment for all roles at Biofire;

  • development and longterm maintenance of talent networks;

  • design and implementation of hiring systems and processes;

  • management of internal and external hiring resources;
