You will be an integral part of a team of talented individuals passionate about solving hard problems to make Biofire’s mission a success. As an IT Operations Specialist at Biofire you will be responsible for ensuring your teammates are fully enabled by their technology, each and every day. You will maintain and develop Biofire’s business software suites, hardware assets, and network infrastructure and you will support the entire company by ensuring the technology tools your colleagues rely on are up-to-date, functional, and properly deployed without disruption. To succeed you will need to be exceptionally detail-oriented, have a strong technology infrastructure background, and be a rapid and disciplined technical problem-solver. You will need a strong customer-focused approach and be motivated to make constant improvements to enable your teammates everyday.


Day to day responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Enabling and unblocking the Biofire team by ensuring employee technology is always performing effectively;

  • Provisioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of employee laptops and workstations;

  • Troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues;

  • Coordinating with external vendors and specialists to maintain Biofire’s network infrastructure and software;

  • Technical Operations process development and continuous improvement;

  • Educating teammates on how to get the most from their technology tools.

This is a full time, on-site role at our Denver Area Headquarters. We offer fully covered platinum medical benefits, 401(k) with matching and flexible work hours with the ability to work from home when not needed on site.
